Cinque Terra

We took a day trip to the beautiful villages of Cinque Terra. This is a series of five villages which are on the ocean. It was a great day with beautiful sites we even got to swim in the sea but there were tons of jelly fish which made it a little hard. But the water was very blue and beautiful.

Tour of Florence

On tuesday we went around to all the major sites of florence. These pictures are from around the river in town. You can see how dirty the water is which it just reminds me of chocolate milk....have I mentioned how much these people LOVE chocolate? we have chocolate quite frequently. Which I am Not complaining :) The other pictures are of the famous Medici family bridge which is full of merchants but not usual merchants the only thing they are all selling in jewelry! There is tons of bling* bling* FunFun!! The Medici family are important to Italian history.

This year I am spending the year in the beautiful city of Florence Italy. Here I will post picutres and stories of my adventures here in Italy. So far I have a ceramics teacher who speaks only Italian and talks to us as if we understand...and We Don't!! :) I have had many experiences with gelato and the Duomo and an looking forward to many more. The River is out of this world and the people here are amazing it is great to be here going to school! Welcome to Bella Florence.
